In which Sam gets fired...

One of my favorite things to do is bringing Sam into work when the office is quiet.

The floor mats are  very cool to Sam - he likes snoozing on them.

These pictures are from  before Christmas - Sam is a good office dog.  He's quiet, doesn't mind sleeping all day, and is happy to spend some time with his Mom.
Changing mats...

However, right before Christmas, another dog was brought to the office that didn't have Sam's manners, especially in the potty department.  Due to this, all dogs have been banned from the office.  I haven't told my boy yet - I think he will be crushed!

Poor guy is going to be so disappointed!

  1. awww poor Sam!! Thats too bad all dogs have to be banned :(

  2. Well that's just KERAZY! Instead of banning ALL doggies, they should just ban doggies that don't have the im-peck-able potty habits that Sam does. Yeesh! Sometimes humans are awfully black-and-white abouts stuff.

  3. Oh Sam that's terrible! I too love going to work with MOM. I'm blessed becasue I do it at least 3 times a week. Some others have brought their dogs as well and not all are "good". Yep the carpet has had some "issues". But again we're blessed cuz the Trustees say, "that's what cleaner is for". whew. And of course every 3rd Sunday is "Bring Your Dog to Worship with You." Funny thing even on those Sundays with all those dogs there has been no accidents. Just sometimes during the week when we’ve had a little visitor. I hope somehow you get to go again. It just doesn’t seem fair that you won’t be able to go anymore.
    Blessings,
    Goose

  5. Waaaah Sadness for Sam. We do hope that he will be asked to come back. For sure, work mates will go looking for him at the office.

  6. Man I hate it when every one gets punished just because of one other. No FAIR!

Maybe in a bit you can flash your sweet face with your big brown eyes to whomever made the decision and they will not be able to resist saying yes to you.....

  7. Ohh, I'm so sorry. I'm sure Sam must have loved getting to sleep at your office with his favorite person.

It's a shame the person with the other dog didn't take steps to prevent "accidents" from happening.

  8. That is terrible, the same 'throwing the baby out with the bath water" approach which has become common place.
Sam did nothing wrong, why is he being punished?
This really makes my blood boil....so unfair

  13. That's so unfair! Sam must be so sad.

  14. Yeah, like you could just quit and work from home. Howz that gonna happen? It's a crappy deal but, unless you are the boss, its the hand you gotta play.

I have serious doubts 'bout the order being recinded. Sam will always be extra, extra happy when you to come home from work. (As will AR.)

  20. Poor Sam! That is so unjust. The reaction is overboard, only pups with poor party manners should be asked to stay home.

  25. It's that old one bad apple thing... and so unfair to good dogs like Sam! Someone didn't have the guts to confront the owner of the offending dog... so the dogs get punished...

  26. WHAT A BUMMER! MAYBE YOU SHOULD START A PETITION TO GET PETS RE-INSTATED AT THE WORK PLACE ...

  28. there is always "some dog" ready to spoil stuff for other good dogs.

Marvin went into my hubby's office every day for two weeks while I was away in Australia, and everyone adored him, (like Sam he was very well behaved!).

After I returned home and Marv stayed with me at home, everyone in his office asked hubby where Marvin was?

Happy New Years to youse all!

  35. NOT FAIR! Poor Sam :( Why didn't they just say that the doggy with lax manners couldn't come back until it got some manners? Nuts.

  37. Poor Same, that doesn't sound very fair. I wish I could go to work with my Mum. Sometimes I go in with her when she not actually at work, but that not really the same.

  39. Kenzo is an experienced office dog, but even he made a potty mistake :( It was when the building where we work placed a Christmas tree right after the entrance. Before I knew it Kenzo lifted his leg. I cleaned up, but to no avail. Other "office" dogs picked up the smell and there was no stopping it :)

  40. I agree, that's just not fair! Plan a protest I say. Let um know who is boss. You tell um!!!
