House Guests

What do you do when you have a dog in need of space?  Why, you invite house guests over!
Harlow
Raven
Tessie
Monty
Oddly enough, this is possible if you take the time to properly introduce all the dogs in a neutral environment.  Tessie and Raven will be our guests for ten days.  I wonder what kind of adventures our pups can have?  Well, when they wake up from their nap...

  8. I do this all the time while dog sitting. It does work but I do put up child gates to give my dogs their own space.

  10. That is so true Christine. People think I'm crazy when I meet them outside of my house with Easton (or whicheverdog) and a leash for theirs. Makes new four legged house guests so much more comfortable once we do a long walkabout as one big pack. No possessive territorial BS to deal with. So happy to see Monty chilling.

  19. You are right about the intros, and you only have one chance to get it right--Believe me, I've done it wrong enough to know that's true.

I hope everyone is having a great time, and there are peaceful moments too!

  24. Just so you know, I do believe that Sam and my brother Jakey are having a ball hanging out together and comparing notes about the good old days with their peeps who loved them more than anything!!!

It's not easy. And it doesn't seem to get any easier.

Mom was in tears this morning over a sweet note from a friend.

    Wirey love,

    Just Harry

  29. I could see myself pet sitting as well. And I'm sure if I were more agile that I'd kick myself afterwards.
