Muddy Day Zoomies...

Sometimes you just have to say "Aw heck with it" and sacrifice your clean floors so that the pups can have a little fun...
I mean, after all it rains so rarely in Arizona...
It seemed kind of mean to lock them up in the house when the weather was made for Retrievers...
...and Harlow really did need some exercise...
It really did make Monty happy, something that has been missing lately...
...and it wasn't like we were growing any grass out there...
Although the amount of mud they brought into the house was phenomenal...
I think it was worth it!

  1. That looks like so much fun that it is worth mountains of mud to clean up.

  5. We LOVE mud season! Our Mom isn't quite so keen on it, but hey, her purpose in life is to keep us happy and healthy, and mud zoomies accomplish both goals! ;-)

  6. I would love to have seen a "moment before they came in the house" shot to see all that mud! The blurry cheetahs make it hard to tell. Fun photo shoot for sure!

  15. We'll be dog sitting this weekend for two former foster dogs. I expect Honey and her friends will look like Monty and Harlow after a few muddy zooms.

Oh well, who needs clean floors? :)

Thank-you for helping me try to get my dogs to like each other,it sounds like it may work.I saw over at Kim`s-Life with the goldens-how she had 2 separate play yards outside,I may put up another fence like that.Bucky has no manners on a leash,so I am starting with no training whatsoever.phyllis

  25. I love, love, love, LOVE those out of focus retrievers! I can really see how much fun they're having. What a good mom you are to let them play with abandon. Some things are worth a muddy house.

    Thanks for sharing.

  26. These pictures are so funny. The rain is here in southeast TX as well. They seem to find the water/mud no matter how little there is.

  27. Oh wow - they must have been filthy when they were done! LOL!

Thankfully, Blueberry avoids mud puddles in the back yard. She only likes to walk through them at the park. :)
