What I've learned about Harlow

Traveling with a dog for a long period of time has its own set of challenges.  Our place in Colter Bay doesn't have a fenced in yard, and park rules forbid off-leash dogs, so Harlow is 100% dependent on me for her exercise and entertainment.  I've learned a few things about Harlow that I've never noticed before...

She likes to run through tall grass....
Okay, da Momma, I iz getting ready for da zoomies.
When she needs a nap, she really needs a nap....
Zzzzzzz.....
She makes friends easily, both human and pups....
Garth Riley, iz dat you?
Most flowers are taller than her....
Da Momma, dese posies are blocking da Harlow's view!
She really was an excessive wriggle to her walk....

She has a funny sense of humor...
Dis tall fellow don't say much, da Momma.  Hehehe....
She truly is the happiest dog around...
Dis my happy face.
I've really enjoyed having her with me.  She is always up for adventure and makes me smile a dozen times a day.  I really think she is enjoying herself too!

  14. She does look super happy!!!!! I've always thought that having a dog in a NP would be a big challenge - but it sounds as if you're making it into an adventure!

Did she bark at the statue? We've had dogs in the past who barked statues of cows, elk, and even rhinos! It was kind of embarrassing ;)

    1. Not at all! She was weary of a couple of huge wolf statues down the way, but she is a very silent dog overall.

  15. I think what I love the most about this post is that you have her with you. It's amazing how much bonding takes place when it's just the two of you.
