Wow!

We've been doing product reviews for chewy.com for well over a year now and the thoughtfulness of the folks there never ceases to amaze me!  If you remember, last year when I was in the hospital, Chewy's was kind of enough to send me flowers and to my surprise, a beautiful little painting of Monty and Harlow.  You can read that post here.

Imagine my surprise when I arrived home yesterday to find a package on the porch, addressed to Monty and Harlow.

A surprise!

I opened it to find a beautiful miniature portrait of Harlow and Monty.  I really love this one!  Harlow is wearing her cast (or the bonker as we called it) and Monty has his serious face on!

Don't you just want to smooch Monty?

Of course it needed to be hung up right away.  The only spot that would do was next to the other one.  We now have our own gallery of miniatures, thanks to Chewy's!

How wonderful are these?

Thank you so much, chewy.com!

A most beautiful picture and a huge thank you!

A while back JM, Bailey and Nala's Mom from Bailey Be Good let me know she had drawn a portrait of Sam.  We fell in love with it immediately and ordered it.  When it came, we rushed it off to a framer - we were so afraid something would happen to it.

We got it back today and it looks awesome!

JM really captures his eyes...

We've been walking around the house trying to decide where to hang it...

Make sure our guests can see it too!

We've decided we need a matching set - after all Monty and Sam are quite a pair!

I has a cute face!

Thank you so much, JM - we love our picture!

Dog Days of Summer #13 - Hiding Spots and Abstract Art...

Well, hiding spots first I think!  Oddly enough, all our funny photos of Sam have to do with Bath Day!  Sam tries desperately to hide when he sees the shampoo come out.

Sam isn't in this picture...  You can't see him....

Monty, on the other hand, doesn't want you to know the location of his secret Monty Cave.  However, we did manage to sneak a picture...

Oh noes - you found my Monty Cave!

The boys and I decided to try something different on Sunday, and took a stab at creating a little (I mean miniature!) abstract art...

I think these miniatures are the start of Monty's art career!
