A Pleasant Surprise
Remember back in February, Monty and I participated in the PetSmart Charities Petswalk? Well, much to my surprise, we got a special gift in the mail!
They sent us a toy for Monty (who promptly claimed it after Sam modeled for this picture) and a water bottle for me! The timing is great; I was looking for a new water bottle!

2011 PetSmart Charities Petwalk
Monty and I had a wonderful time at the PetSmart Charities PetWalk held yesterday. We participated in the 5K walk and enjoyed seeing so many different breeds! 
There was so much to see and do!
The dark clouds are starting to roll in...
Monty behaved himself so well! Here he is before the walk taking in all the sights!
I really enjoy seeing all the dogs!
...and Monty marching on like a trooper!
This was the last photo I was able to take before the downpour started! By the time we got back to the park, and then the car, Monty and I were thoroughly soaked!
Despite the rain, we had a great time! Monty smiled through the whole event - I would definitely say he is looking forward to next year!

PetSmart Charities PetWalk
Hi, all! This Sunday Monty and I will be participating in the PetSmart Charities PetWalk in Tempe, Arizona. We will be walking with AZGRC Purple Halo Team, the rescue where our boy came from. If you get a chance, stop by (click here to see my page!) and take a look! If you can, donate a few dollars - all proceeds will go to AZGRC. I'm hoping to get some great pictures from the event, but either way, the day should be exciting!
