All in all, Monty's training sessions have been going very well! He is trying very hard to get things right, although we still have a way to go.

Monty in the AKC?

Well, after some careful thinking, we've decided to enroll Monty in the AKC's Purebred Alternative Listing/Indefinite Listing Program. We'd really like to be able to participate in rally, obedience and agility with Monty. Arizona does not hold many dog events of this type, but this will allow us to participate in more events!



This also means we are going to have to do some serious sessions with our goofy boy! He is doing very well with his sits and downs, but "stay" isn't in his agenda yet.

Our goal is to have him ready for his first event by February!
