Our annual Arizona monsoons are here. Almost every evening this week we've seen rain and thunderstorms, and our days are very muggy! The mugginess brings out all manners of creatures, including this dragonfly. They really enjoy this weather!
I've had the opportunity this week to work at Casa Grande Ruins National Monument. If you are ever passing through Phoenix, this is a great place to detour to!
This morning I'm back to my normal work place. I took this picture on the way to work:
Mornings here are truly GOLDEN, are they not?
Speaking of golden, here are a couple of pictures of Sam and Monty. They are still practicing hard to perfect their "Synchronzied Napping" routine. Here they are performing the "Waking Up" portion.
Sam is on the left, Monty is on the right. Look at how perfect they are matched!
I'm not sure how this picture will come out for you - to me it is sideways, but I have it saved right way up...
Well I don't know how you tell one from the other! :)
ReplyDeleteGoodness! The boys are GOOD at Synchronzied Waking Up! We couldn't tell who's who either!

Beautiful photographs. I love the matched pair.
ReplyDeleteI love your photos... I hope that your monsoons start soon. Ours have become as regular as clockwork in the mountains of Colorado.
ReplyDeleteWe once had two dogs who always seemed to nap in sync... they were littermates. We've never had another pair who seemed so connected. Your photos reminded me of our pair. Great photos - thanks for sharing!
Oh what a sweet picture of you 2..
ReplyDeleteWe love the golden sun...

ReplyDeleteHi Sam and Monty! We are nearly neighbors! Quinn and I live in Albuquerque, NM! Thanks for stopping by my blog and extending a paw of friendship! I look forward to getting to know you better as we share adventures. You two certainly seem to have the tandem thing mastered! Please visit me again soon.
ReplyDeleteSynchronized anything means a bond is there - my brothers mirror eachother all the time.
