Lazy Weekend
I think the heat is really getting to us - we had a long list of things to to, but did very few of them. Even the boys are tired of it, and we are still having another week of over 100 degree days!

Oh, that's way too much heat for too long. We weren't even happy to see the 80's make a comeback just because we're all sick of anything even warm, let alone hot. Of course, the humans will be howling a different tune if we get as much snow as we did last year this coming winter. Not me, though. I love snow. Stay as cool as you can. Autumn can't say away forever, can it?

The heat is exactly why we left and went to the mountains. It was really nice to be about to get out in the middle of the day!

When I spend the winter in Seattle, we get a little wacky about February. Get lots of reading done. However, we can still go outside!!

Unpossible!! We are having a heat wave here - going to be 100 for the next couple of days! Wish I could send Monty some cool weather, but he looks like he's busy reading anyway!

What are your reading, Monty? Sorry that you are still experiencing such summer weather. The only thing you CAN do at times like that is get comfy, move very little and drink cold things.

Sorry we missed you last weekend - and we share with you the misery of hothothot weather. We've been having a heatwave, but think we're going to get a break today. (I know - not fair - AZ gen'lly doesn't get a break from high temps...) But we will try to paw the fog fairy to send you some wisps to cools ya all off - hope it works!

Lower humidity here which seems cooler. It's a welcome relief even if the mosquitos are still feasting on us.
