Bath Day

As all of you know, due to issues with his hair, our boy Sam was scheduled for a bath. It seemed the only way to return him to his former handsome self! Of course, if Sam is getting a bath, Monty is also getting a bath. Monty, for once, was not pleased with the news. The baths were scheduled during his mid-day nap!

A bath now? I'm trying to sleep!


After much grooming, brushing, clipping and fluffing, the boys are ready to make their grand re-appearance in public. Now, for you girls out there we warn you - our furry heart throbs may be too much to handle. Please scroll slowly!

Here we have the boys together. Monty is on the left and Sam is on the right. Aren't they stunning?


Now for the close ups. Please make sure your seated, we aren't responsible if you faint upon glimpsing their magnificence!

Here is Monty. Notice the warm brown eyes, the strong jawline (please disregard the drool!), and the slight curl to his auburn locks. He's a sweety!


Next up we have Sam. His Fabio-like locks have been restored to their full glory. We are sorry, girls, but Sam has given his heart to his girl, Maya, and isn't available.


We also found out that Sam's cousin, Cody, also had to endure a bath yesterday. We love his expression in this picture!

    Seems like everyone is having a bath lately.. i had to endure hourrrrrrrs of grooming too.
    But both of you looks handsomest spectacular. I bet the girls are all fainting now.. Bring in them salts!

    Oh my! Bring out the smelling salts! Thank goodness we didn't get any gratuitous floof shots or I'd have had to lock Lilac in the dog crate. You two are very handsome spectacles of retrieverness!

    I'm glad Honey was out of the room when I checked out Sam and Monty's new doo. Talk about stud muffins!

    Honey's due for a bath too. I noticed some dried on chili on her ear?!

    Luckily Honey doesn't mind bathing too much. I always use my favorite grooming tool -- peanut butter! Everything goes better once you fill the soap dish with peanut butter.
