Our Weekend

We didn't have any plans this weekend, other than the boys were in desperate need of baths and a good grooming session. Of course, Sam wasn't at all happy to hear this, but just look at him! He really did need a bath! ...and just look at those paws!

I like paw hair...


Monty took his bath with no complaints...

I'm cute!


Sam resigned himself to his fate and allowed himself to be groomed - I think he's ready for his close-up!

    We have to echo the Herd:( That's no way to spend the weekend - silly Mom.

    The Momster doesn't like paw furs either. TD and Ciara are very good about the trimming, but Phantom has very sensitive footsies and keeps twitching - makes the Momster very nervous.

    Sam - you look just so handsome - maybe the bath wasn't so bad after all.

    Oh, they're both looking so spiffy! I understand, though. We're not so crazy about those days. We did the whole thing a couple of weeks ago. I hope it's a looong time until we have to do it again.

    I feel your pain, don't like baths too. You got to admit after a bath the fur feels soft and silky.

    Why is it when nothing is planned on the weekend it results in poking and prodding of the 4 legged friends? We need to make sure they always have plans!

    Thanks for being such a loyal friend. I'd like to be online more often, but we don't seem to have any time these days. But Carl says soon, when autumn has broken, we will have much more quality time. I actually love water and being in the shower, but my people say I don't need to be bathed, 'cause apparently I've got self cleaning fur...not that you can really call it fur...lol! I've sayd it a few times in the past and I'll say it again: I love your dark colouring. You look stunnig!

    Wow, you two dogs look beautiful! We do not like baths either. But for some reason the humans LOVE to give them to us! Give us something else instead, Mama... like toys!

    Our boy Josh was groomed before vacation--I hardly recognized him when he was all done, but the groomer assured me he was 'done for many months.' I wonder if he is going to hold me/her to that? ;-)

    Don't tell your mom, boys, but my momma needs a trim almost as much as your toesies did. (oh, not her toes but her head hair)! She promised us that she would have it done BEFORE we go to the Park this weekend (thank goodness, what would the other pups think about how unkempt we allow her to be?)
