Empty the Shelter - July 30, 2011

The Arizona Animal Welfare League (AAWL) and Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) are holding a special "Empty the Shelter" day from 10am to 8pm on July 30th. Adoptions fees will be reduced.

If you are thinking of adding an addition to your family, July 30th is the day to do it!

  1. Summer is such a great time to adopt a dog or cat. With kids often home from school, it gives everyone a chance to bond with a new friend.

    I hope the shelter has a really successful event!

  20. What a great post. Hope the event was successful and some pups found furever homes.

    I saved my people. I found them wandering around the streets, took them home, and thought I had better stay to look after them.

    It's important that people do that for dogs too.
