Monty and the window

We aren't sure if this means:

a) Monty wants us to open the blinds

or

b) Our windows have gotten so dirty, Monty can't tell that the blinds are down...

    Poor Monty..

    Open the blinds. He only wants to see life passing by..

    Grandpaw, however, knows the feeling well. His eyes are growing dim,
    He cannot see and asks himself what the hell is wrong with me.

    Keep all your windows clear and clean while you are young.
