I am at the Grand Canyon National Park this week for work, and I have to say, I love the canyon and think it is beautiful anyway, but the snow just makes it even more so!
I have never lived in any place that it snows (I just saw my first snowmobile!), so it is a little weird for me to walk outside and see this!
I wish I could have taken the boys with me - I would love to see Sam and Monty's reaction to the snow! :D
Gopher and Squirrel love to roll and bury their noses in the snow until they sneeze. It would be worth the trip to take your kids to a snowier state. Might have to wait until next Winter though.
ReplyDeleteWoof! Woof! Oh my mom LOVES the Grand Canyon ... its beautiful. ENJOy the SNOW. Happy n Safe Travels. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteSnow boots should come in handy.
ReplyDeleteG/Paw
Oh such a beautiful place! We DO love the snow so much - and what a gorgeous place all decked out in that powdery snow! We bet that Sam and Monty would love rolling around in that fluffy stuff!

Cool! Isn't it breath taking? When I visited the Grand Canyon there was snow there too, although it was 80 in Phoenix! Such a contrast.
ReplyDeleteOh, is that BEAUTIFUL! Sam and Monty would LOVE the snow, I just know it!
ReplyDeleteLuv,
Dave
I bet Sam and Monty would have a hoot in the snow!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy it while it lasts! Wow! We love some snow. Too bad you can't take Sam and Monty with you!
ReplyDeleteNina, Myshka, Sasha, Betsy, Lucy, Phoebe and Lily
It would be fun to see their reaction, yes! Abounding in joy, no doubt.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful, eWe would love to come too since we have almost no snow at all. And it would be fun to enjoy it with Sam and Monty.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Sam and Monty would act like two little furkids racing around in the snow!

ReplyDeleteEnjoy!!!!!
We are hoping to visit the Grand Canyon this spring! Enjoy the snow!
ReplyDeleteThe WDA has never been to the Grand Canyon but we play in the snow in our mountains. One of dad's favorite Grand Canyon memories is the winter he and momma went and there was deep snow at the rim and when he hiked down, it actually was in the 70's.
ReplyDeleteWe are considering a WDA weekend in Prescott in March. Are you close?
If you've never been in snow, it is something. I never really tire of it, but sometimes winter can be too long.
ReplyDeleteThe Grand Canyon with snow? That must such a beautiful sight. What a great job you must have. :)
The Grand Canyon is one of those places I've always wanted to visit! Wow – it must be even more spectacular with snow! :-)

boy you are lucky to work there even if it is just for a short while.
ReplyDeleteMy Vickie told me about a search she had there years ago and how cool it was.
She and Andy (her search dog at the time) hiked from the top all the way to Phantom Ranch. It was GGRREEAATT...
Have fun...

ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to visit the Grand Canyon, it always looks so awesome.
ReplyDeleteWe usually get very bad snow every winter, so was dreading this winter, however, no show on the snow thank goodness.
Last year and the year before was totally bad. I have photos of six foot drifts and not being able to use our cars for months.
But we love the fact snow is a novelty for youse!
Marvin adores the snow totally!
love from Cassandra aka Jeannie xxxxxx oh and Marvin xxxx
Like you, I've also not seen much snow in my life. It stays pretty hot here in SA.
ReplyDeleteIt would be wonderful to be able to see the Grand Canyon one day. We have two amazing canyons in Southern Africa - Blyde River and Fish River...but I can imagine that they are not as 'grand' as yours :)
Sending lotsaluv

I didn't enjoy the snow.. If your boys are with you, I am sure that they will enjoy it..

I am speechless. This can be an improbable blog and really partaking too. Great work! That is not likely much coming from an amateur blogger like me, however it's all I might assume after enjoying your posts. Nice grammar and vocabulary in contrast to different blogs. You actually know what you are talking about too. So much that you just made me want to learn more. Your blog has developed into a stepping stone for me, my fellow blogger. Thank you for the detailed journey. I really enjoyed the 6 posts that I've read so far.
