Harlow had her very 1st Gotcha Day with us this past weekend. Like
Monty's Gotcha Day, we will have to postpone the festivities till I am out of the hospital. I did get a hospital visit from the Princess, and she was all smiles.

Hi dere! |
Harlow has decided to move forward with her campaign against her biggest enemy yet - fruit. She has commissioned campaign posters, and has already began to distribute them via Facebook. She feels it is one of her most important duties as a Princess to inform the public.
She's pretty convincing, isn't she?
The fruit industry is shaking in its boots.
ReplyDeleteThese are too cute!!!
ReplyDeleteMy two Goldens would fight over the fruit! Daily bananas are expected and strawberries are super-fun in their world.
ReplyDeleteHow do we contribute to the 'Harlow Against Bananas Campaign'? Talk about a political action I could get behind! (Okay, I actually like bananas, and most other fruit, but when it comes to special-interest political campaigns, this one really grabs me!)
ReplyDelete-Dr. Liz, and not Fiona, who is still making up her mind about bananas...
That is a very good campaign you have in the works

#I shared these images today with some friends who have a Golden, and they were utterly amused by them…!
ReplyDeleteWoofs,
Tommy
Happy Gotcha Day, Harlow! We can't wait to hear all about the festivities! You are such a hoot - you truly are! haha
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots♥

Blueberry makes Harlow sad? That makes Blueberry sad...
ReplyDeleteAlthough Blueberry agrees that bananas are evil. Even Pumpernickel the hamster doesn't like bananas. The last time I tried to trick him into eating it - he hid it under his food dish. Clever fella.
I tried to show this to Lucy but she was too busy eating an apple slice. Her wagging tail in between bites tells me she isn't going to join Harlow's crusade against fruit for Goldens.
ReplyDeleteFeel better!
ReplyDeleteHappy Gotcha Day Harlow. hope you are able to rid the world of fruit soon! LOL!
I'm convinced boo to bananas and blueberries. I never have liked the texture of bananas and never tried blueberries but if Monty doesn't like them, that's good enough for me.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
Glad there are some other picky eaters out there--I keep hearing about these dogs who will work for string beans and go nuts for broccoli, while I have to spoon feed and sing to mine to get them to eat their yummy moist food :)
ReplyDeleteIf you keep this up Harlow, just think one day you could be President!! Go Harlow! Go Harlow!
ReplyDeleteHappy Gotcha Day to you and we are so with you re fruit and anything green. Have a terrific Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Hard to imagine a dog that doesn't like bananas and blueberries! Mine love both!
ReplyDeleteBOL! The poster about blueberries is priceless. But, what dog doesn't like bananas? Oh dear....
ReplyDeleteHappy belated Gotcha Day!
ReplyDeleteIf you don't want your fruit, Maggie and I will take it. We love fruit! Especially pears. Mmm... pears!
Cammie!
Happy Gotcha day Harlow! We hope you get to celebrate with mom soon.
ReplyDeleteI don't like fruits either and I don't like veggies. Mom tries to sneak carrots in my food and I always spit it out.
June
Happy belated Gotcha day! :)
ReplyDeleteMost of the WDA would gladly join the campaign except YoYoMa who LOVES all things grown. It is a dirty kitchen secret but the Army regularly gets fed blueberries (to prevent tear staining), pumpkin, pineapple and all manner of veggies in their meals...Steve has learned to grind these fine so they can not be "sorted."
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Gotcha Day to the Princess!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd to prove that chivalry is not dead, I am stepping up to help Sweet Harlow dispose of all FREUTS, because that's the kind of guy I am!
So please to send ALL FREUTS to
