The Mystery Continues....

So today we present Clue #4 on our "Guess My Location" contest.  We've had some good guesses and even had our very own "Thelma and Louise" style movie poster created by our good friend Leigh!  Thank you!  Although, I would like to point out - we aren't on the run from anyone!
I thought today we would do a little recap of where we are.  You have ten more days to guess just where Harlow and I are heading - we will announce our location on May 22nd.  To help out, here are the clues:

Clue #1 - my detail is NOT in Arizona
Clue #2 - the park I will be going to contains lakes and rivers
Clue #3 - I will have to travel through at least one other state to reach my destination
Two whole months without a bath!
Are you ready for Clue #4?  A Lassie movie was filmed there.

Here are the guesses so far - you guys are getting closer!

Yellowstone NP
Valley Forge NP (We'd love to come visit, Khyra!)
Lake Meredith NRA
Big Bend NP (I sooo want a chance to visit!)
Tuttle Creek (Another place I want to visit!)
Joshua Tree NP

    Lassie?!? Lassie? Hmm. I've never seen Lassie at Tuttle Creek SP but I did see a Sheltie once. Close, but not close enough! What about Jellystone!?!? I'm not sure if Lassie ever went there, but that's where Yogi and Boo Boo live.

    Hailey posted my guess. Lake Chelan in Washington State. The Courage of Lassie with Elizabeth Taylor was filmed there and according to the map there's both a lake and rivers.

    Crikey ...... I only know the parks in Australia and I can't think of one that's got lakes AND rivers. I don't think Lassie was ever filmed here either so I guess that rules me out, aye??

      Oh I got it ..... I always forget Tasmania. It's Cradle mountain, aye?? You're going to Cradle mountain in Tassy. That Lassie sure gets around.

    It may be better known for its massive trees, but there are plenty of rivers and lakes there and Lassie made a movie in Sequoia National Park. So that is my guess.

    I might have it.... but I'm not sure. Wasn't Courage of Lassie filmed in North Cascades National Park? That's my guess for now... but it sounds pretty far north for you southwestern girls!

    How about San Bernadino National Forest? This would be a good time to go to Canada though?????????? Banff National Park???? At any rate, be safe!
