Memories on Monty Monday

Monty and Aaron didn't have a  chance to get out and have any adventures this past weekend - mainly due to Aaron wanting to keep the weekend very low key for Monty.  Monty has a huge fear of fireworks, and we spend a lot of time planning on how to keep him relaxed and happy.

I thought I would post a few vintage photos of our handsome boy.  Enjoy!

    Love those smiles! Hope everyone had a nice 4th... Mama said your Mom should wag on over and read her open letter to Lola, which we put up on the 4th... it was a hard one to write, but very very special.

    Monty, you look so handsome!

    Hailey is the same with fireworks. Canada Day was last Wednesday. We live in cottage country so we had fireworks on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. She did ok but was upset. Contrast with Phod, who was outside with us when the Saturday night ones started. He was asleep in the grass but our fire and didn't move.

    Monty really IS so very handsome. Ciara commiserates with him - she has an unbelievable fear of fireworks - actually more like terror. It is so hard to watch your sweet pup be so afraid. Mom says next year she is going to try some sort of sedation for her. We still can't get her to go outside after the dinner hour.
