Summer in Arizona is no fun if you are an adventure loving pup. We've reached the stage where the only way we can have fun is to drive north. ...and we will admit - it's too hot to do even that.
While Monty is content to laze around the house during the day, Harlow lets us know repeatedly that she is bored.
It starts with a sad stare...

...followed by a full out "Da-Momma-I-iz-suffering" gaze...

Princess Harlow, you are welcome to come visit us! True, it was in the high 80s for us today (and hotter in Salt Lake), but it's not quite the blast furnace heat you are dealing with. We would be totally bored, too! Just remember - this can't last forever, right? And in in the meantime, da Momma should be coming up with all sorts of indoor activities to keep you happy!

oh Harlow I feel your pain. Well not as much as you are feeling it. I heard that it snowed in Alaska this week. I think you should have da momma make a slip and slide for you..... indoors.

Harlow, you are going to have to live with wonderful memories of your trip to the National Park. Poor Monty doesn't even have that. But you do have the gift of a princess in getting your message across.

It's been hot around here too, but I imagine not half as bad as Arizona!
