(Please note this is a backyard shot - we let the grass die during the winter...)However, we have enjoyed looking at all the pictures of our friends enjoying the snow! We've talked about bringing Sam and Cisco to play in it, but haven't made it that far north yet. After seeing the perfect snowflake land on Murphy's (Red Dog Romping) fur, Sam decided it was time to go play in the white stuff. Sam wanted to make sure he was prepared in case we decided to go. First, we had to make sure he would stay toasty...
Mom, are you sure this is warm enough?
Sam is still not convinced he wants to go. He has heard it can be wet, which sounds suspiciously like a bath to him. Plus, if he wears my jacket, what am I supposed to wear?
Oh Sam! You are a stitch. What a good boy to wear such warm clothes. You will LOVE the snow. It's a Golden thing!

You should come here for snow, Sam. It was -1 degrees this afternoon. That was just the regular temperature, the wind chill was worse. But we do get snow for you to play in.

ReplyDeleteYou are stunning in your fancy hat - have no fear - SNOW IS THE BEST - and since you have a lovely fur coat all your own - you should be plenty warm (you might want to give Mom back her coat).
Have fun - don't forget to rub you snout in the snow (that's the best) - and you might even try snow diving - into the soft fluffy snow banks (not recommended for the frozen over icy banks - beware!)
