I made a dog!

Yesterday, Sam and I spent part of our day reorganizing the craft room. While doing so, I came across supplies I had bought to try my hand at needle felting. I grabbed a couple of needles and some wool and made a dog.

At first, when Aaron saw it half way done, he assumed I was using the fluff I'd brushed off of the Golden's...

I'm rather proud of it, although I realize it needs a little tweaking. I'm looking forward to creating my next one!

I think Sam just likes to be in the craft room with me.

Where you going, Mom?

  1. Is it all the goodies in the craft room or that cool tile floor?

  4. That is very cool. But maybe sometime you could make one out of the doggy's fur. Mom is always saying she vacuums up enough fur to make a small Shar Pei, especially when we're blowing our coats. But she doesn't have skills like that, so it all just goes to waste.

    lotsa licks, Lola

  5. I always said you can take the hair from a Golden's brush and make another dog. At first, I thought that is what you did. Either way, that is a very nice extra doggy in your house. Good thing Sam is in your craft room to supervise.

About Sam's cancer dog food: I'm happy to hear all is well with Sam and you understood the spirit of the message from my recent post. Every food on the market contains different ingredients, and each one has the potential to be a perfect fit for an individual dog. The big companies are quite capable of making the best dog food in the world. Glad you found the right one for Sam.
