"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion." - Unknown
This is one of my very favorite quotes. I used to have cards that had it on there, and I would give it to the families that adopted our fosters, just to remind them...
I love that quote very much!! I'm feeling guilty right now because I left Holly at the groomer and she looked at me with those eyes of hers and jumped up on me as to say "you wouldn't leave me here would you?" I had to and I sure hope she's doing okay!! Lots of love, Debbie & Holly
What a very Most Beautiful picture and saying. I'm pretty sure my mom is worthy of me and Brudder Ranger. But between you and me, I don't think SHE thinks she could ever be worthy.
We came by to thank you so much for your kind thoughts about our Gracie Girl. And this post has Mom crying up a storm all over again. Crying is good sometimes, right?
I guess I'm a little cynical about people but I don't know if it's possible to be worthy of a dog.
