First off, Mom spent part of her weekend trying to teach Monty to wear a hat. As you know, Sam is a pro. Sam is good at wearing a hat. Sam look cute in a hat. Monty not so good. Mom finally got him to wear a bandanna. Monty needs some work.
Due to Mom and Dad's various aches and pains this weekend, Sam and Monty had to entertain themselves. Sam, being quite literary as you know, spent his time catching up on his reading. Currently, Sam reading Sherlock Homes.
Hmmm... Sherlock and Sam have much in common...

Monty is SO at home. Sam, as always, the perfect character actor. Just love seeing those two. Brings back many memories for me. Nothing better than two Goldens!! One is great, three is way more work.
