Monty has been known to stare at the walls for days if he thinks he has seen a light - in the hopes that it will reappear. This should keep him occupied all night!
George stares at the walls, too, but he's normally on the lookout for spiders, flies and other creepy-crawlies (not that we're swamped with bugs or anything like that!). Dogs can be really funny when they get something in their head.
Cody will chase a pen light for hours as long as you keep it moving! You can stand on the front deck and she will chase it from one side of the yard to the other. Great fun if you are not into so much exercise.
It's the heat, isn't it?
