Monty's beautiful eyes and a few nicknames...

Our Monty has the prettiest eyes we've ever seen!

I had a few curious questions about calling Monty MONster.  MONster is just one of the many fun nicknames he has, all plays on his name.  He is also called MONTYbello, MONTish, MONTYsaurus Rex, MONTenero...  anything we can come up with that uses the first few letters in his name. 


Sam's got the same collection of odd nicknames - SAMster, SAMmish, SAMsonite...

So no worries - we don't really think of Monty as a monster!  :D

    Those eyes are definitely beautiful! We have some random nicknames too - a nice mixture of real worlds and the name. Keeps it interesting!

    Love the nicknames. Our dog Daisy who was a German Shephard mix answered to Poodle which was her nickname.

    Yeeep, I'm with wooo guys on the nickname fing. Most days Mumma calls me eferyfing except my given name. I mostly come anyways, no matter what she calls me.

    Oh boy, I understand that. I've got all kinds of knicknames from Oskar-bedoskar to Stinkypanst Jones. The latter is a name I do not deserve, by the way.

    Monty's eyes remind us of our Scarlet's.. you can see their soul through them!

    We like your nicknames. Mom calls me Boon for short. We call Kudzu "Zu" and sometimes Cosmo "Mo". None of the rest of our pack have nicknames... except that sometimes mom calls Scarlet "the other woman".. whatever that means!

    Our girls also have that lovely dark pigment. And yes, we do the same thing with the names. Lucy is very often Lucifer!

    Beautiful eyes, indeed! What a handsome boy. There are many nicknames used at my house, too. I love that some names are offshoots of other nicknames and end up being absolutely different from the originals!
