An Update on Sam...

Do you ever have the feeling you just can't win?  Sam finally got the drain out today, but the site where the drain was is now badly infected.  So, poor Sam is wrapped again and on another dose of antibiotics.  His shirts are being bleached and washed, and he has to stay covered till Friday when we go back. 
Monty being a good brother and watching over Sam.
Keep you fingers crossed that the bandages can come off on Friday!

    Oh Sam brother not an infection. I hope by Friday all is well. I know Monty and your family is take extra good care of you. Keeping right there in my prayers buddy.

    Oh, poop, Sam. I know you and your people are all tired of this. Beth is on her 11th week of post surgery recovery; she goes to the vet tomorrow. Hopefully her wrap will come off, but she will have to continue wearing her t-shirt - which she truly loves wearing. Be strong, Sam!

    You poor doll (boy doll...) - oh Sam - sooooo sorry about the news, but that picture sure shows a ig smile, so we're hopin' you are not in pain. Beg for extra cookies, for sure and lots of belly rubs heheh! Crossing fingers and paws that Friday will be the last of it!

    Poor Sam, we hope the antibiotics will take care of that infection asap. Sam doesn't seem too fazed by his shirt, maybe he likes this fashion statement:)

    Aww, poor Sam just can't win! Poor guy. So sorry to hear he has an infection...that's no fun for you or him. Here's hoping this round of antibiotics does the trick. But yay that he got the drain taken out! :)

    Yes, I have decided I can't give them up. We have spent so much time keeping them alive and loving them it would break our hearts to let them go!!! Tom (Hubby) and I decided this last week-end when we named them!!
