Our weekend - a summary...

The Arizona heat has pretty much kept us indoors all weekend and we've had to come up with creative ways to keep ourselves entertained and busy...

Harlow, of course, has her bird watching:

Monty spends his day adoring the sun beams:

You iz interrupting my sunbeam, Momma.
We did some house cleaning, in which Harlow helped...
I iz ready to work!
...and got them both out for a walk...

As far as the pups are concerned, winter can't come quick enough!
Anyone in Alaska need a couple of Golden sled dogs?

  1. Knock on wood - we have been lucky that our summer has been about 5 degrees cooler than usual. We are enjoying it. We hope it cools down a little for you.

  8. -2°C this morning. We're waiting for it to get light, so we can go for our morning walk.

There should be some way we could send each other a few degrees!

    Keep watchin' those birds...

  15. Our Lucy is a bird watcher too, Harlow. And she loves the sun like Monty. And like both of you she isn't much for heat. Those double coats are too much in hot weather. Stay cool inside.

  16. Goldens do love the cool-ness don't they? I can't keep our ice bowl filled for the dogs, and have resorted to actually buying it to help everyone stay a little cooler.

  17. I love those Monty photos. Although I can't get enough of Harlow's cuteness, I think that Monty is so handsome! You can send them up to our mtns if they need a coolness break!

  18. The heat here is unbearable too. Just when I think it is going to cool off, we get a thunderstorm. My outdoor time has been cut to almost nothing. *sigh*

  19. We, too, cannot wait for the cooler months to arrive. It was brutal this weekend! Except for the rain yesterday which helped some.

  21. The only bad thing about summer is when the heat is so bad you are stuck inside. Toby gets bored. Sometimes he goes out to bake himself though, like humans in the sauna. Anyway, Harlow and Monty seem to have found ways to be content indoors, and they sure are adorable doing it!
