Thanksgiving - the day after...

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

We shared the news on Facebook but we want to make sure everyone knows - Sam doesn't have Lymphoma!  Turns out the suspicious lump was a fatty lump underneath the lymph node in his neck.  The folks here at "How Sam Sees It" have been celebrating ever since we received this great news!

We had even more great news to be thankful for, when we learned our good friend the Bleu also received the best of news - REMISSION!

It definitely changed the spirit of our Thanksgiving celebration!

We did find a good use for the leftovers.  As some of you know, we haven't been able to get a photo of the boys sitting next to each other.  Oh, they will set near each other, but not actually next to each other.  We think that they have some sort of strange "cootie" pact in place.

So out came the leftovers, and (ever mindful of delicate digestive systems) we attempted to get them to sit near each other.  All we managed to do was get some great begging face photos...

Is that ham?

Monty loves ham!

Close, but still maintaining their distance....

At this point I've given up - I love Monty's begging face.

...and Sam really turns on the charm!
We hope everyone has a great weekend!

  15. Fantastic news! Just in time for Thanksgiving, too.

Don't give up on the group shot, try squishing them together in the hallway, or up on some sort of table or something. I'm sure they wouldn't mind the extra turkey while you try, anyway. :-)

  16. Such wonderful news for you!!! We are so very happy. Surely a great Thanksgiving Day.

We have the same problem with Phantom - always wants to be on the outskirts, never in close with the others.

  27. We've gone through a lot of benign tumors with dogs through the years. We know most of them are not worrisome but still...getting good news is something to be thankful for.

  36. Hey Sam,

Thanks for stopping by. In answer to your question, our humans had a great Thanksgiving. We had...carrots.

Our begging faces don't seem to work as well as they used to!

We're happy to hear your good news!!! That's indeed something to be thankful for. I've had a fatty tumor for a while now and after my mom freaked out about it, she calmed down when the vet examined it and told her those things are pretty common.
