Poor Sam! Goldens are supposed to love the water. Someone needs to tell you and Bella that. Bella feels your pain. As soon as she sees her shampoo bottle in my hand she tries to disappear under the furniture. (She has her own special shampoo from the vet with chlorhexidine in it for hot spots and needs to be bathed once a week leaving the shampoo on for 10 minutes at a time) Needless to say, she hates mommy after. So Sam, be happy at least you don't have to have baths every Saturday. Hang in there. At least you smell really pretty afterwards!

how can a golden retriever not like getting wet? Wet is wonderful! I hate baths too, but wetness in general is quite pleasurable. You really should try it.

Poor Sam!! Run and hide, quick! Riley doesn't like getting baths either and will jump out of the tub if you turn your back--fast as lightning! Hopefully you didn't have to get a bath on a Saturday, today!
