I bought the boys a play pool. We keep the big pool blocked off - the filter system can't hold up to the copious amounts of fluff Monty leaves in the water. So I thought I'll just buy them their own personal little pool and they can get it as dirty as they want.
I should have known better...
Um, no.... |
We were surprised by Monty...
My ball is getting wet... |
Must... not... be... seen... in "Dora the Explorer" pool.... |
Oh Dora the Explorer! BOL!!
ReplyDeleteLooks awesome! My pool just broke, so I'm in the market for another! Teehee! :)
ReplyDeleteWoofs & huggies, <3
~Bailey (Yep, I'm a girl!)
Dora The Explorer, I want one , well cool! Have a terrific Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly.
OOPsie... forgot to remind you to view my post today -- there's a photo of someone very special toward the bottom. Teehee! :)
ReplyDeleteWoofs & huggies, <3

Who doesnt love Dora :) I always wanted a real inground pool for Haylie but I know we would have the same problems with all her hair. I got her a big circle water trough :) she doesnt spend as much time in it as I hoped though lol. Maybe I should have gone the spongebob route too!
ReplyDeleteOH! I agree! SpongeBob would have been a better choice....
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Maybe it reminds them of bath time?
ReplyDeleteDora!?? Oh dude that is just not right.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
Oh so funny!! Will have to get one for my dogs next year. I hope Monty saved his ball from Dora...lol.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that always the way? Try to do something nice for your dogs only to realize you got it wrong.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! we will come by and swim with you anytime!
ReplyDeleteMy coon hound, Daisy, loves to get in the kiddie pools at the 2 parks we visit and wondered if she would get in one if I bought one for the backyard. I really shouldn't wonder since she doesn't like to be introduced to new things (the new loveseat and dog feeding station which I wrote about have still not been well received) at all!
ReplyDeleteHow funny that Monty will at least touch the pool! I wonder if Sam will follow his lead?
That pool would be great for my guys! It doesn't take much water to let a corgi swim!
ReplyDeleteYeah, seriously. What were your peeps thinking, getting you guys a Dora pool!??
ReplyDeletePlay bows,
Zim
Looks a bit tricky stepping into the pool. You be careful you don't trip.
ReplyDeleteLove and licks, Winnie
LOL... oh no, not Dora! Too funny! :)
ReplyDeleteHa, too funny! I probably could get Luna to wade in with me - the key word being probably :)
ReplyDeleteUmm...maybe your humans can paint over the hideous Dora-ness!
ReplyDelete:)
Woof! Woof! Golden Laughs on the "Dora ..." Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteFor sure it would have been better if you would have bought the Spongebob pool! Ha ha! Maybe they didn't want to have to jump over the side. They wanted to step in...maybe! That's my only guess. Well, not for Sam, but for Monty.
ReplyDeleteElyse and Riley
Who cares if it's Dora the Explorer, Monty. At least it's cool, wet and refreshing!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Mitch and Molly
Cute! Dora LOL!
ReplyDeleteHehehe, great photos. Maybe you would have liked a Thomas the Tank Engine pool. Either way your new pool looks fab. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
ReplyDeleteSam and Monty, You should come visit us in New York. We have lots of nice lakes and waterfalls. They wouldn't insult your dignity like a Dora the Explorer pool. :)
ReplyDeleteJust kidding. I'd be happy to play in a Dora pool. Your boys don't know what they're missing.
Would be much funner if you had a few kids to splash around with. My kids make our Dora pool so much more fun.
ReplyDeleteBOL - so will you be off to the store tomorrow to get that Sponge Bob pool?
ReplyDeleteWe don't do pools either, we prefer a good hard rain:) Mom feels differently.
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
So furry nice to meet you! Thank you for sniffing your way over to my blog and pawing such a kind comment. I appreciate it!
ReplyDeleteFurry lucky pups to have your own pool but seeing how you are both Alpha Males I can understand staying away from "Dora." BOL!
Suka
A dog has standards, you know! Next time, get a Scooby Doo pool and I bet it's a whole different story!
ReplyDeleteBunny
I love the dora pool
ReplyDeleteStop on by for a visit

Can't imagine the congestion the WDA would cause a filter system. But if there are no cabanas or lounge chaises or drink service, why bother even going near a pool? And DORA the Explorer...really?
ReplyDeleteHa! It's been so hot here I was wishing we had a pool. Though the last photo looks almost like a giant water dish.
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool!! I want a pool to swim in too though I prefer the beach..
ReplyDeleteHi Sam and Monty..
ReplyDeleteMom and I saw your handsome faces on Rem's comments. We came by to say hi...Rem. I have been Rem's BEST FELINE FRIEND for 3 years.
Madi
I guess you can't always drag a dog to water :) :) :) Just takes a bit of time for those instincts to kick in
ReplyDeleteI understand your hesitancy. I am a little ambivalent about a full dunk too, although the rest of my woofie family are all of the "jump right in" persuasion!
ReplyDeleteWoofs,
Tommy
C'mon mom, a Dora pool? No wonder Sam didn't want to be associated with it. :)
ReplyDeleteDora the Explorer? Dudes, that is just not right., what wuz your sweet momma thinkin' ? ;)
ReplyDeleteYour Buddy,
Max
Ha!Ha! Maybe you should have went with Diego or Super Mario! LOL! Loved the drawing of Sam that Bailey's Momma did. :)
ReplyDeletetee hee hee
ReplyDeletethe water must have felt so heavenly!
love
tweedles
I'm 100% sure the problem was Dora. :P
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing day!! :D
ReplyDeleteOur dogs won't go near the pool. It doesn't matter if we throw a whole steak in there - they won't touch it. I am pretty sure they think water = a swift death.
ReplyDeleteYou willingly get into the water? Hmmm. I'm not sure about that.
ReplyDeleteEmma
BOL! Yap, I vote for SpongeBob next time ;)
ReplyDeleteWaggin at ya,
Roo
